Thomas K. Faubion is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in 1971 and the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University), Juris Doctor in 1975, speaks Spanish fluently and is an active Rotarian. Thomas is a member of the Tacoma-Pierce County, Washington State, and American Bar Associations along with belonging to the Arbitration Panel for the Washington State Bar from 2001 to the present, Rules of Professional Conduct Committee from 2001 to the present and he is rated “AV” (the highest possible rating for ability and ethics.) He has extensive experience in the areas of professional service corporations, commercial litigation, family law, estate planning, and real estate law.

 Rebecca K. Reeder is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Seattle University School of Law, cum laude.  Rebecca has been with the firm of Faubion, Reeder, Fraley & Cook, P.S. since the year 2000.  She regularly serves as a pro tem commissioner and arbitrator in Pierce County Superior Court.    Her area of practice includes family law, probate, collection and landlord tenant.

Nelson C. Fraley II graduated from Washington State University in 1991. After having spent two years with the law offices of Cozen & O’Connor (one of the country’s largest corporate firms) in Seattle, Washington, Nelson attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1996. Shortly after graduating from law school, he became the Judicial Assistant to Judge Brian Tollefson, Pierce County Superior Court, Department 8.

The product of a military family, Nelson is a passionate attorney who fights for the rights of his clients. Nelson has represented clients against Federal, State and Municipal government, large and small corporations, insurance companies, and government agencies. He is admitted to all courts in the state of Washington both federal and state. A former board of directors member for Community Health Care, Nelson believes no fight is too small if the rights of an individual are adversely affected.

Daniel N. Cook obtained his Juris Doctorate from Oak Brook College of Law in 2003 and is admitted to practice before both the Washington and United States Supreme Courts. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Family Law Section and the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Daniel is an associate who joined Faubion, Reeder, Fraley & Cook P.S. in 2008 after spending five years with a high volume exclusively domestic relations law firm. He has extensive family law experience, including trial work, and continues to represent clients in dissolution, paternity, relocation, non-parental custody, modifications of child custody or support and related domestic cases. Some of Daniel’s successes at trial have included representing a father in preventing the relocation of his children out of state, allowing a move for a mother although both parents had equal custody of the child and securing supervised visitation to ensure the safety of the children because of mental health issues of the opposing party.

Since joining Faubion, Reeder, Fraley & Cook Daniel has expanded his practice areas to include estate planning, minor criminal defense, landlord/tenant, collections and general civil litigation in addition to continuing his domestic relations work. Daniel has received 30 hours of interest based mediation training and is certified to practice Collaborative Law. Daniel’s philosophy is to treat his clients as individuals and not just another case file. He is committed to excellent communication and strives to ensure his clients are aware of their options and have the ability to make fully informed choices with respect to their cases.

Grant L. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A. Business, 1960; J.D., 1963). He has been a Pierce County Superior Court Judge, 1993-1999. City of Fircrest Municipal Judge, 1977-1993; Pierce County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney; Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. Washington State Bar Association Disciplinary Hearing Examiner. Member of the Board, Washington State Board of Education, 1969-1993. His practice focuses on Commercial Law; Construction Law, Land Use Law; Real Estate Law, Estate Planning and Probate Law.
